E.M.T.(Empresa Municipal de Transports Urbans S.A.)

The Municipal Transport Company (Empresa Municipal de Transports, EMT) offers a wide transport system to visitors and locals to make communication easier among the different municipalities.

Please remember that there is only a single bus ticket price, no matter how many stops you are staying on, and that each bus ticket is valid only once. The EMT offers its users a ten-journey discount card. You can buy it at tobacco shops, at authorised shops and at the EMT offices. This ten-journey card can be used by several people at the same time. It is, however, not valid for bus lines connecting to the airport.
